The HTL team made waves at the recently concluded 2023 World Hospital at Home (HaH) Congress in Barcelona, Spain. Given HTL’s deep and unique expertise in tech-enabled HaH, HTL’s Medical Director – Dr. Jared Conley, Sr. Innovation Manager – Jenn Mann, and Entrepreneur in Residence – Dr. Gregory Snyder joined thought leaders and experts from around the world to advance the discussion around improving and scaling HaH programs.
Dr. Conley chaired the first-ever HaH Tech Summit and worked closely with Jenn and the WHAHC staff to organize the successful event, in which leading experts from academia and industry conducted panel discussions on opportunities/challenges of embedding technology in HaH with an eye towards helping HaH scale and reach the highest-quality patient & clinician experience.
Dr. Conley provided opening and closing remarks at the Summit and led a panel highlighting remote patient monitoring opportunities/challenges in HaH. Jenn moderated a thought-provoking panel discussion on lessons learned from young international HaH programs, and Dr. Snyder shed light on the intricacies of doing hybrid virtual HaH in rural communities.
All three shared their expertise with younger and experienced international programs, connected with many industry-leading vendors, fostered potential partnerships, and explored new technologies and workflows to improve HaH.
