HTL Project | 2014

EchoSense is an innovative healthcare technology company based in Israel that has developed a novel method of acquiring lung Doppler signals (LDS) using a handheld ultrasound device.  The signals generated can assess compliance of blood vessels as well as presence of congestion in the lungs, which is a marker of heart failure.  HTL coordinated patient recruitment for this industry sponsored clinical trial aimed at evaluating patients presenting to the emergency department with new onset of shortness of breath to determine if the device can reliably determine if heart failure is the cause of their symptoms.
