The MGH Healthcare Transformation Lab (HTL) has entered into an ongoing collaboration with the American Heart Association (AHA) to develop a mobile app to assist clinicians worldwide in caring for patients requiring Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). This AHA ACLS app was developed for front-line clinicians to address the unmet needs of existing solutions and enhance our experience running codes—with the ultimate purpose of saving more lives. It provides a user-friendly, AHA-certified resource for navigating ACLS-specific clinical protocols and efficiently responding to such emergencies. Importantly, the app includes the AHA ACLS 2020 protocol updates. All ACLS content in the app has been developed, studied, and vetted by the AHA.
