What’s Next in Healthcare Digital Marketing?

A recent PwC study notes, “As ‘patients’ behave more like ‘consumers,’ health care organizations need to deliver a higher level of personalized service, satisfaction and overall experience.” Thinking beyond hospital marketing, the Healthcare Transformation Lab at Massachusetts General Hospital and marketing agency White Rhino advocate for a new generation of provider digital marketing. It’s “advertising without the ads” and works best when weaved into the organization’s operational fabric. Discussion will include examples such as location-based marketing, visit navigator apps, reimagined lab results, and patient consent forms and how to actually implement these novel approaches in a complex hospital setting.
